
Classical Painting & Drawing Program
about the program
Class starts March 3rd
Students meet on Tuesdays from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Students are also encouraged to join the live drawing sessions on Thursdays.
A program in observational classical drawing and painting, where students meet weekly to receive individualized guidance through a structured, progressive curriculum rooted in traditional techniques. Students study composition, value, color, form, and develop their own artwork under expert mentorship.

Foundations & Progressive Curriculum
In this class, students follow a structured, progressive curriculum designed to build mastery from the ground up. You will:

Start with drawing fundamentals and move through graphite, charcoal, monochromatic painting, and full-color oil painting

Learn essential principles such as composition, lighting, creating references, and color theory

Work on personal art projects throughout the course so you create meaningful artwork from the very beginning

Receive high-touch, individualized guidance as you practice and refine your skills

Develop both technical mastery and creative confidence, learning how to translate your vision and intuition into the work itself

About the Instructor
Morgan Foshee
Morgan Foshee is a classically trained artist who studied and taught at the Hein Atelier of Traditional Art. With a focus on painting, drawing, and teaching, Morgan brings years of experience in guiding students to sharpen their skills and find their artistic voice.
